Natural Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

A natural smoothie with 29g protein — great to drink after a hard gym session, or to replace a meal.

Natural Chocolate Banana Protein Smoothie

  • 1 medium banana (really ripe banannas taste best)
  • 150 ml full fat milk
  • 210g Fage Total 2% Greek Yoghurt
  • 1½ T honey
  • 2 T cacao powder

  1. The banana:
    — At least a day before
, peel a banana, snap it in half, then clingfilm it or pop into a freezer bag, and place in the freezer.
    — Whilst you can use a fresh banana, a frozen banana will make your smoothie colder and more refreshing.
    — Don’t make the mistake of putting more than one banana in the same bag, otherwise you’ll have a giant clump of bananas that won’t separate!
  2. Put all the ingredients in a blender, but leave the cacao and honey until last, otherwise they can stick to the bottom.
  3. Blend for 30 seconds or more until smooth.

Enjoy the protein smoothie!
