Low Carb Protein Jelly Recipe

A tasty high protein, low-carb protein jelly dessert. Gluten Free. So easy to make. I often have a few of these jellies in little glasses in the fridge, for when I fancy something sweet.

Low-Carb Protein Jelly Recipe

Ingredients (2 portions)

  • 2 gelatine leaves (pork)
  • 100ml of cold water
  • 100ml of boiled water
  • 2 scoops of flavoured sugar-free Whey

Whey Protein is a byproduct of the cheese-making process. Numerous studies show that it can help to increase muscle mass, and to lose body fat. Whey protein powder comes in many tasty flavours—my favourites are chocolate, vanilla, strawberry and peanut butter.


  1. Put the 100ml of cold water in a smoothie shaker, and soak the gelatine leaves for 5 minutes.
  2. Add 100ml boiling water and stir with a fork.
  3. Add 2 scoops of your favourite low-sugar 

    Whey protein powder.

  4. Shake until mixed.
  5. Pour the mixture into 2 glasses. Allow to cool, and put in the fridge for a couple of hours to set.
